In the emerging ASEAN regions, the consumption market including E-Commerce has been expanding rapidly. In order to contribute to market demand, OPT SEA and e-fra agreed to form a new joint venture company, Lead Commerce.
Lead Commerce is designed to operate vertical information media services that generate productive leads between consumers and vendors by leveraging e-fra’s wide knowledge of E-Commerce marketing and media operation, as well as OPT group’s online marketing and technology know-how.
Comparison.Asia, formerly operated by e-fra, providing a full range of price and product information including gadget, home appliance and other consumption goods, will be re-launched and operated under Lead Commerce. Comparison.Asia currently aggregates the information of 150,000 products from 5,000 retailers including the major players, such as Weloveshopping, Tarad, Tesco and Big C. By the end of 2015, these numbers are expected to double and serve more than one million unique site visitors in Thailand as well as other ASEAN countries.
In addition to this service, HappyWedding.Life, providing comprehensive wedding planning tips with social reviews will be ready to launch (Beta version available in December 2014).
